Changes are being made to provide quality higher education..

Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy has announced changes to provide quality higher education in the state to prepare students for global competition. The Indian School of Business (ISB) has released a report on the new examination system for the degree, and skill courses have been made available to students to gain job and employment opportunities before completing the degree. The ISB recommendations will be implemented from this academic year to improve the quality of degree education. In August last year, the CM ordered a course in the degree to increase students’ awareness to avoid cyber crimes. As a result, arrangements have been made to make the 4 credits cyber security course compulsory in the second semester of the second year of the degree from this year. Many departments, including Nalsar, JNTUH, and police department, have cooperated in designing the course. Nalsar professor and cyber security expert Santi said that arrangements are being made for students to do practicals through smart phones in the cyber security course being introduced this academic year. One of the total four credits will be for practicals, and if smart phones are not working in the villages, students can report projects at banks or other offices, with marks/credits given for them. Textbooks are being prepared for this course and will be available for download on the websites.
