A gang of interstate robbers created havoc in the town of Adilabad

A gang of inter-state robbers, who belong to Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad, have been caught in Adilabad town. Four members of the gang, believed to belong to Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad, have been involved in thefts in various districts. In one hour, 79 tulas of gold jewellery and Rs 20 thousand in cash were stolen from two flats in Ramnagar, Adilabad town. The next day, 105 tula gold jewellery was stolen in Warangal. The gang was arrested by the Kurnool police at Raptadu in Anantapur district while they were fleeing in a car. 2.30 kg of gold ornaments and a gun were seized from them. The thugs are suspected to be responsible for another theft from a house in GS Estate in the district center. The police are making efforts to bring the inter-state gang arrested in the Kurnool cases to the district. The Warangal police will take custody of the gang after the crime in Kurnool was remanded. Adilabad police will then bring them to the district with court permission to remand them in the cases.
